Our story
The village’s past has been shaped by many changes, and our house changed its role along with them. Our family’s life has always been closely connected to gold mining in Roșia Montană. A studio where you can discover the Salvăm Roșia Montană campaign, launched in opposition to the mining project that threatened the village in order to exploit the remaining gold. Articles, photographs, and testimonies from that time tell the story of the community’s resistance and the protests that followed. See details here.
